Miami Fashion Week announced on Wednesday its return to the runway circuit this month, after taking a two-year break due to the Covid-19 pandemic that saw many in-person fashion events cancelled in the last 24 months.
In Q1 2022, the Italian eyewear group recorded net sales of €282.6 million, up by 8.4% at constant rates. Gross income was on the rise too, up by 23%, as were gross margin, at 55%, and adjusted EBITDA, at 11.3%.
The Italian label has reshuffled its design office, naming Filippo Grazioli as creative director, while Alberto Caliri, who had succeeded Angela Missoni in the same post, will take charge of the home decoration line.
Milan Week announces nearly 170 presentations over five days with 67 shows, only eight in digital format. This season will welcome ten new names and see the return of Gucci, Bottega Veneta, and Trussardi.
MFW, scheduled to be held from Feb. 22 to 28, will feature 71 shows, with only six in digital format. Ten new brands will be introduced while major labels such as Bottega Veneta, Diesel and Gucci return to the catwalks.
