Net-A-Porter poaches marketing director from Jimmy Choo

Net-A-Porter has named Dana Gers as new global marketing and communications director. She is currently serving as senior VP of global brand marketing and communications at Jimmy Choo.


Dana Gers has been appointed to the newly-created position ofglobal marketing and communications directorat Net-A-Porter - Jimmy Choo


Gers has had a long career in the luxury goods industry, having worked at Jimmy Choo for six years since 2011. Prior to that she was SVP of marketing at upmarket shoe brand Ferragamo USA, VP of marketing at luxury crystal products retailer Baccarat and as director of public relations for cosmetics maison Guerlain.

She is expected to join Net-A-Porter in mid-April this year, reporting directly to the company’s managing director Matthew Woosley.

The newly-created position will include leading the brand communications strategy, ensuring customer acquisition and retention and driving sales.

Gerd will be based in Net-A-Porter’s London headquarters.
