Triumph continues its strategy of refocusing on the eponymous brand and on Sloggi. The underwear giant recently sold its Dorina brand to Hop Lun, co-owner of Scandale Paris with Halle Berry.

The amount of the transaction was not revealed but with it the Asian group has acquired a historic German brand, with expertise in plus sizes too. In addition to Scandale Paris, Hop Lun owns lingerie brands 6ixty 8ight and Marie Meili.

Dorina features a mixed underwear range and has a staff of about forty. Ulrich Daiss will remain in charge of Dorina and head distribution and marketing. Pieter-Bas Stehmann, CEO of Hop Lun Brands, harbours international ambitions for Dorina, which is currently present almost exclusively in German-speaking countries and Benelux.

As for Triumph, the company last year saw its revenue decline more than 4% to €1.4 billion.
