Acting as an extension of Blanc Media, the creative platform established in 2011, Blanc Space will carry on the mission of Blanc Media to represent a diverse and underrepresented perspective of the fashion, art, and music world, by serving as a gathering space and interactive environment.

Carr started Blanc Media and Blanc Magazine in a small London studio in 2011. Today, it engages in innovative projects with global brands such as Gucci, Tiffany and Co, Dior, and Louis Vuitton. She started her career in 2005, working as a photographer, creative director and then consultant across various brands based in London, New York, and Tokyo.

“I'm so excited about the next chapter for Blanc. Building this business independently, learning the operations of publishing and creating magazines, and gaining partners to support my vision and invest year after year have been my way to break down barriers. My quiet protest. With Blanc Space, I am looking forward to exploring community building and engagement by developing authentic spaces and content for people who look like me,” said Carr

“Over the past few years, and especially over the past year, I've been gaining so much knowledge, and one of those whose advice has been invaluable is Stefano. I'm looking forward to merging our talents and experience to find ways to support and celebrate artists of color as well as supporting brands who want to engage our audience authentically.”

Tonchi is a fashion journalist, author, and curator. He is recognized for his roles as editor-in-chief of W, creator and editor-in-chief of T: The New York Times Style Magazine, and fashion creative director for Esquire. Most recently, he was the contributing global chief creative officer for the L’Officiel group.

“I have been following Blanc Magazine and advising Teneshia through the last few years and I am very excited to partner with her in creating Blanc Space, a media service platform and a place of self-expression, collaboration and creativity,” said Tonchi.

“I look forward to working with Teneshia by connecting our creative community with our partners in the luxury market and creating an exciting dialogue that will enrich all parts through images and experiences."
