Reese Witherspoon and Elizabeth Arden are celebrating International Women's Day this month with the launch of a new lipstick.

The prestige beauty brand and the Hollywood star (who is also the cosmetics giant's official ‘Storyteller-in-Chief') have teamed up to kickstart ‘March On Pink', the next phase of the brand's ongoing philanthropic female-focused campaign.

The main focus of the campaign is a new limited-edition ‘March On Beautiful Color Lipstick' signed by Witherspoon. The shade, a hot pink dubbed ‘Pink Punch,' was inspired by "the next generation of young women leaders," according to a brand statement. The total sales proceeds are being donated to UN Women, to the tune of $1million, where the funds raised will continue to fuel the non-profit organization's 'Making Every Woman & Girl Count' gender data initiative.

"It's an incredible time to be a woman," said Witherspoon in a statement. "The work we're doing with Elizabeth Arden and UN Women is igniting real change and increasing possibilities for women globally." She added: "I'm in this for all women -- for my daughter, my mother, and all the amazing women in my life."

"This campaign serves as a symbol of women's strength and the powerful possibilities when we support one another," said Ava Huang, General Manager, Elizabeth Arden. "We are grateful for our partnership with UN Women and their dedication and impactful work toward gender equality."

This is the second time Witherspoon and Elizabeth Arden have used lipstick to promote women's rights -- last year, the duo settled on a limited-edition of the brand's signature "Red Door Red" lip color. The brilliant red hue was a reference to the fact that back in 1912, the brand's founder Elizabeth Arden provided red lipsticks to the suffragettes marching on Fifth Avenue, making the shade synonymous with the women's rights movement.

The "March On Beautiful Color Lipstick" is now available at ElizabethArden.com and in department stores globally.
