Positive Luxury launches in the US and France
Positive Luxury, which seeks to connect luxury brands and people who care about sustainability, has began operating in France in the US and will host a series of panel discussions and events in Paris, New York and London next week.
The sustainability platform is known for its unique Butterfly Mark, which recognises the eco efforts of luxury brands like Louis Vuitton, Christian Dior and Loewe.
The events will be part of Positive Week, taking place from 14-20 October across three cities. Now in its 8th edition, Positive Week will include events in Paris and New York for the first time, as well as a number of consumer initiatives.
In London, eco-conscious consumers are invited to attend wellness workshops, beauty classes and live demonstrations from Positive Luxury brands including British jeweller Stephen Webster, makeup brand Trinny London and handbag maker Okapi.
Positive Week will be celebrated in Paris on 16 October with a networking breakfast and panel discussion with top industry CEOs. Senior executives at luxury goods company Smythson, watch manufacturer IWC Schaffhausen and LVMH will be joined by other experts to debate how brands can integrate sustainability to attract and retain top talent.
Finally, a private networking dinner will be held on 17 October in New York, bringing together influential speakers such as Stephen Webster, founder & CEO of Stephen Webster; Alexandra Mor, founder of fine jewellery brand Alexandra Mor; and Ulrik Garde Due, CEO of luxury goods firm Mark Cross.
