Designed to be worn both during workout sessions and throughout the rest of the day, Peloton Apparel pieces aim to combine performance and style. The line’s debut offering includes activewear, such as tanks, t-shirts, sports bras, hoodies, shorts and leggings, as well as accessories, ranging from baseball caps to sweatbands and patches.

According to Peloton, the apparel has been wear-tested by Peloton members and instructors in a variety of fitness modalities, as well as by non-members, to ensure that it is optimized for comfort, performance and durability.

The collection features four signature Peloton Apparel fabrics. These include Peloton Cadent Fabric, a performance stretch jersey with breathable and moisture-wicking properties, and Peloton Lite Lines Fabric – a lightweight, quick-drying Polyester, Lyocell and Spandex blend.

There’s also Peloton Move Mission Fabric, a “buttery soft” Nylon Spandex Interlock offering moderate to high compression, and Peloton Essential Fabric, a second skin material with added support and light compression.

Founded in 2012, New York-based Peloton’s bread and butter focuses on selling internet-connected workout equipment, such as exercise bikes and treadmills, which allow monthly subscribers to its online platform to participate in remote, streamed exercise classes. Currently, the platform boasts more than 5.9 million members around the world.

The company first began selling activewear in response to member demand in 2014, but until now its apparel offering has mostly consisted of seasonal collections dropped in collaboration with brand partners. With the launch of Peloton Apparel, the platform is presenting its first clothing collection where the majority of pieces come from its own private label.

Peloton Apparel’s debut offering is available now on the Peloton digital platform.
