Kurt Geiger is to open its first full-line store in Ireland at Hammerson/Dundrum Partnership’s Dundrum Town Centre. The company already has a Kurt Geiger boutique in Ireland’s key outlet mall Kildare Village, which opened in 2018, but the latest announcement marks another major step forward.

The new 2,248sq ft Kurt Geiger store will open on Level 1 of Dundrum Town Centre, in a location previously occupied by Coast. It will open its doors this spring and will offer the brand’s three labels for women, men and kids. The footwear and accessories company owns its signature brand as well as KG and Carvela.

It has been focusing on key flagship locations as it has rolled out new stores and currently has over 70 stores and over 300 concessions globally, including concessions within luxury department stores Harrods and Selfridges.

Other new stores at Dundrum in recent periods have included Rituals, Thérapie and Folkster.

Kurt Geiger is heavily focused on expansion and opened a major store at the giant Bullring centre in Birmingham late last year, as well as a pop-up in Berlin. Last autumn it also launched a high-profile celebrity-based campaign that included Joan Collins, among others, as well as teaming up with Aldo to drive its concession opening programme forward in the UK and Ireland.
