French rainwear brand K-Way has opened a 1,500 sq ft store 4 Henrietta Street, Covent Garden, marking its bricks-and-mortar debut in London.

The high tech store features tablets instead of traditional cash registers, allowing shop assistants to sell items anywhere in store, which means customers can pay for their purchases in real time without having to wait or queue.
Further tablets and iPads are strategically placed in sales areas and shop windows to help customers find pieces, view prices and get information on sizes, colours and materials from K-Way’s products in store.

Every K-Way item also features a unique number and QR code which can be scanned with a smartphone to find out more about the brand’s production, traceability and authenticity.

The store has launched with the SS17 collection, predominantly stocking menswear, with a smaller collection of colourful women’s and children’s clothing.
