After the success of their first collaboration, Y/Project and Jean Paul Gaultier are joining forces again. In January 2022, the prolific and talented designer Glenn Martens, who is also Diesel's creative director, designed a spectacular haute couture collection for the Parisian house. This time, he has created a ready-to-wear collection focused on the label's iconic trompe l'oeil prints, which hits shops this Friday.

A glimpse of this new collaboration was unveiled at the Y/Project show last June, full of trompe-l'oeil effects that picked up on the anatomical graphics that the designer had introduced in his previous winter collection, where he paid tribute to Jean Paul Gaultier and his 1990s garments featuring naked body prints.

Glenn Martens brilliantly plays with the optical effects. Thus, a pair of jeans is drawn on a dress, a cardigan in twisted knit is incrusted on a top, a denim jacket is printed on a sailor suit, a sexy camisole is sketched on a tank top, a naked body is outlined on a sweater and a pair of trousers, while a beautiful pair of legs features on a maxi coat...

The collection is aimed at both women and men and offers a full wardrobe, with pieces ranging from 300 euros for a miniskirt to 1,190 euros for a dress. It is available on both brands' websites and in selected boutiques. The launch is accompanied by a campaign shot by photographer Thomas Cristiani with Dutch model Gia Bab.
