Hugo Boss puts the Americas zone in the hands of Gerrit Rützel

To address the departure of Mark Brashear for Michael Kors this summer, Hugo Boss has appointed Gerrit Rützel as the President and CEO of the Americas zone. The executive, who has been part of the house since 2001, has been President of the Asia-Pacific zone since 2011.

He will start his new position in New York in January.

Gareth Incledon, who is currently in charge of retail in China, has been chosen as his successor in Hong Kong. The two executives report directly to the Claus-Dietrich Lahrs, the group's CEO.

During the first semester 2014, Hugo Boss saw its total revenue rise 7%, at a constant exchange rate, to 1.17 billion euros. For the Americas zone, mainly the North American market, it went up 3% to 255 million and 4% to 165 million for the entire Asia-Pacific zone.
