The year is rolling for Gabriela Hearst. The 2016-17 International Woolmark Prize winner for womenswear is hosting a month-long pop up at Le Bon Marché in Paris, following her win and the unveiling of her fall 2017 collection.

The new pop up, which marks as the New York City-based designer’s first-ever retail experience, is located at the retailer’s second floor, and it houses the Gabriela Hearst spring 2017 collection. The space features a rustic distressed leather hanging rack suspended in the center, antique and vintage furniture in wood and stone, and a bespoke sofa covered in the brand’s signature cashmere, handmade by women’s co-op Manos del Uruguay.

“Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche is one of my favorite stores in the globe to shop so it is an honor to be able to show a glimpse of the Gabriela Hearst world in such an iconic establishment,” said Hearst. “Bon Marche is a synonym for quality and good taste.”

Born in Uruguay, Gabriela Hearst grew up on her family’s ranch surrounded by horses and cattle. Her family’s heritage inspires her designs and is referenced in the rustic look of her pop up.

Hearst launched her eponymous label in 2015, 10 years after launching her contemporary label, Candela. In 2016, Hearst won the International Woolmark Prize USA Final alongside Rochambeau designers Laurence Chandler and Joshua Cooper, who won for menswear.

The Gabriela Hearst pop up at Le Bon Marché will remain until March 31.
