Daniel Hechter has signed two license agreements for its leather goods and jewellery collections for men and women. The French brand, which belongs to the German group Miltenberger Otto Aulbach, will leave the development of all leather goods to Texier, and of jewellery to GL Altesse.

Both labels have been honoured with the “Entreprise du patrimoine vivant” label by the French state, receiving a recognition mark for the excellence of their traditional and industrial skills. Gl Altesse, as well as Texier, belongs to Renaissance Industries, an entrepreneurial group whose ambition is to contribute to revitalising France's economic fabric through the successful turnarounds of struggling businesses.

With the exception of China and Southeast Asia, Texier will take over all international development of the leather goods collection of Daniel Hechter. GL Altesse designs, manufactures and commercializes its own branded jewellery collections, as well as licensed jewellery collections for Kenzo, Nina Ricci and Inès de la Fressange.

The collections will be available in Fall/Winter 2016 in all Daniel Hechter locations worldwide and department stores.
