French jewellery house Boucheron opened its first boutique in Riyadh last week, marking the Parisian's second store offering in Saudi Arabia.

Located on Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Road, opposite Riyadh's Centria Mall, the Paris-designed store -- a tribute to Boucheron’s Hôtel Particulier on Place Vendôme -- covers 130 square metres. It is one of the largest Boucheron stores in the Middle East.

The Riyadh store boasts a light marble facade doused in white. Inside are Boucheron timepieces and the maison's signature jewellery items, including the graphic Quatre collection, the Serpent Bohème collection and the Animaux de Collection. A selection of high-end jewellery pieces are also offered to the select Saudi clientele.

Meanwhile, Boucheron unveiled its '26 Vendome' collection in the Middle East, as part of the Doha Jewellery and Watches Exhibition, which took place in February.

The collection comes in three chapters – ‘Nature Triomphante’, ‘Architecture Inspirée’ and ‘Porté Couture’, and boasts pieces such as radiant lily with a jonquil heart (‘Lys Radiant’), the wheat of summer (‘Blé d’été’), feathers transforming into distant birds (‘Plume de paon’), and wild animals as a symbol of freedom (‘Animaux de collection’).

Boucheron opened its first Saudi Arabia store in October 2015, in Jeddah at the El-Khayat Center.
