Fossil Group puts Beth Moeri in charge of its brand portfolio

US watches and accessories specialist Fossil Group Inc has announced that Beth Moeri (formerly at Pandora) has joined the group as executive vice president, Portfolio Brands.

Moeri will be in charge of the group’s extensive portfolio of labels, both for watches and jewellery, comprising among others Armani Exchange, Emporio Armani, Diesel, Kate Spade New York, Michael Kors and Tory Burch.

“With Beth’s arrival in our team, we are going to strengthen and extend our relationship and connection with our customers,” said Kosta Kartsotis, CEO of the Fossil group. “Her ability to immerse herself in the brands, her vast experience in the accessories industry and her result-oriented management style will greatly strengthen the Fossil group."
 
A graduate of Missouri-Columbia University, Moeri has over 20 years' experience in the high and costume jewellery industries, including the retail and wholesale channels, the licensing business and sourcing. She was formerly chief merchandising officer for the Americas at Pandora.

Fossil was founded in 1984 and produces watches, handbags, jewellery, eyewear and wearables. It is present worldwide through over 400 monobrand stores and 4,000 retailers. The group manages a portfolio of 17 licensed brands in addition to its own labels (Fossil, Misfit, etc.). In 2017, the group’s revenue decreased 14%, down to $2.78 billion. With the watches segment alone, the Fossil group generated a revenue of $2.19 billion, equivalent to a 6% downturn.
