Christopher Suarez, partner of British designer Nicholas Kirkwood from the outset, has left the fashion label for which he served as CEO since 2014. The British press reported that Suarez wishes to focus on other projects.

The two men met in 2005 and immediately joined forces. Christopher Suarez looked after distribution while Nicholas Kirkwood oversaw design.

In just a few years, the luxury footwear brand achieved unprecedented success. In September 2013, LVMH became a shareholder in the company, acquiring a majority stake. At that time, a two-year development plan was agreed on, envisaging Christopher Suarez's departure at the end of the period.

Sophie Brocart has taken charge of the Nicholas Kirkwood label ad interim, pending the appointment of a new CEO. Brocart is Senior Vice-President of Fashion Ventures for the LVMH group's fashion division.
