As CBO of the German luxury brand, Auhagen was responsible for brand and creative management, sourcing and production, and held the role for six years. Prior to joining Hugo Boss, Auhagen served as Senior VP of Collection at Espirit, and as Manager of the Gerry Weber Brands of Gerry Weber International.

At Hugo Boss, he will be succeeded by Ingo Wilts, who will take up his post as CBO no later than November 1, 2016.

"Hugo Boss would like to thank Christoph Auhagen also on behalf of the company’s staff and shareholders, for his major contribution to our organization over the last six years. We wish him every success in his further career," commented Supervisory Board chairman Michel Perraudin.

"At the same time we are delighted to have secured the services of Ingo Wilts for Hugo Boss, given his exceptional expertise in the field of high-quality fashion."

Any matters falling within the remit of Christoph Auhagen will be handled by Managing Board members Mark Langer and Bernd Hake for the time being.
