Chanel joins a quartet of major fashion houses in Europe – Alexander McQueen, Balmain, Gucci and Karl Lagerfeld – who have begun connecting to their social media followers through live events.

Angèle goes live at 1PM Paris time today on Chanel’s Instagram Stories. The segment, entitled "Stay Home with Chanel & Angèle", has the potential to reach many of the fashion brand’s 39.5 million followers.

“A special moment for your days at home,” said Chanel of Angèle's concert on its Instagram page. The star had previously performed at a party to celebrate the house’s Métiers d’Art show in Paris last December.

The Belgian singer is one of a quintet of celebrities currently featuring in Chanel’s latest eyewear campaign, which includes Isabelle Adjani, Pharrell Williams, Margaret Qualley and Sébastien Tellier.

The Paris fashion house has also created The Sound of Chanel, available on Apple Music, “to accompany your days at home with an exclusive selection of music tracks and beauty narratives.”
