Menswear tradeshow Capsule is shifting locations for its winter edition. Departing Paris' Maison de la Mutualité, the event will head to the city's Marais district from January 19 to 21, with a scaled-back layout.

The event will set up home in l'Espace Morin, on rue Vertbois in the Marais, inside a light and bright exhibition space set over four levels. Approximately fifty brands will make up the upcoming edition, via which Capsule, acquired by Reed Exhibitions in 2014, looks to reconnect with its roots.

"Community building and good vibes have always been at the heart of Capsule, and this new reduced format will highlight these values, and responds to the increase in exhibition showrooms across the most dynamic and 'fashion-forward' districts of the city," said organisers.

Some of the brands confirmed to attend this season include Beau Gomme, Bricktown World, Eastpak, Hunting World, JJ Emlyn and Naked & Famous Denim, as well as Pas de Mer, Syndicate, The Good people, Token Token Toek, Used Futures and Wons Mous.

The tradeshow Capsule was previously held in Garage Turenne, at the Cité de la Mode et du Design in Paris' third arrondissement, before heading to the Maison de la Mutualité in the fifth quartier. The womenswear version was stopped last year after having, for a time, joined Première Classe and Paris sur Mode in the Tuileries.

The next Paris edition of Capsule will take place before several days in New York, slated for January 23 to 25 in the exhibition park, Pier 94, in Manhattan.
