The CEO of New York & Company, Greg Scott, will be featured on the Emmy Award-winning series “Undercover Boss” on Wednesday, Dec. 28.

The reality TV series follows high-level executives as they take low-level jobs within their companies to find out how things really work.

During the show, viewers can watch the CEO of the women’s apparel and accessories retailer visit four New York & Company stores and experience the candid reality of what happens at the store level.

“While undercover, I saw many opportunities that I wouldn’t have been able to see otherwise. I heard so many great ideas to improve processes for our store teams and I was also able to learn how to elevate the in-store experience for our customers,” says Scott in a news statement. “Moving forward, I plan to implement many of these ideas into our stores. Getting to know our customer on a more personal level will ultimately help grow our sales and increase profitability for New York & Company.”

During the show on Dec. 28, Scott will also be live tweeting through the company’s Twitter account in real-time where he will share personal thoughts of his undercover experiences and answer questions from fans.

New York & Company is one of the only fashion retailers to be featured on the show since its launch in 2010. Other retailers who were featured on the show in the past include TaylorMade Golf Company, O’Neil, and Modell's Sporting Goods.
