Burberry has teamed up with Henry Moore Foundation for the exhibition, which is set to open in its Soho venue following the launch of the February 2017 collection during London Fashion Week. Featuring more than 40 of Moore’s sculptures, monumental bronzes, drawings and maquettes, Henry Moore: Inspiration & Process, will provide visitors with a rare opportunity to explore the methods and evolution of Britain’s greatest sculptor.

The exhibition will open with free admission from 21–27 February, featuring a series of Henry Moore works including Mother and Child: Block Seat (1983–84), Draped Reclining Mother and Baby (1983) and Torso with Point (1967), as well as Burberry’s new collection and a programme of workshops, events and acoustic performances.

“I have been fascinated by the great British sculptor Henry Moore for as long as I can remember – his work has always had a powerful influence on me. Looking at, and thinking about, his work set up a series of conversations as we began working on our latest collection. The result is an incredibly enriching collaboration with his Foundation which has extended well beyond our show, and into an extraordinary exhibition of his work and process at Makers House,” said Burberry chief creative and chief executive Christopher Bailey.

The luxury fashion brand has also previewed two looks from its upcoming collection. The images, shot at Henry Moore Studios & Gardens, reveal both a womenswear and a menswear look, building on the brand’s new show format. They are available for pre-order from this week and will be delivered right after the catwalk show on Monday 20.

The February 2017 campaign is fronted by models Amber Witcomb and Tom Fool.

Burberry’s February show will be the second straight-to-consumer initiative after its September 2016 show. The combined men’s and women’s wear runway will be followed by the launch of the collection online and in-store.
