Nobuyoshi Araki has photographed Saskia de Brauw and Sung Jin Park in Tokyo for the Italian label Bottega Veneta's spring/summer 2015 campaign.

Inspired by dance and movement, the images capture the weathered finishes of the fabrics. The washed suede pieces for women respond to the discolored pieces for men.

Born in Tokyo in 1940, Araki is one of Japan’s best-known photographers. He is famed for his controversial images, inspired kinbaku-bi (the art of modern Japanese bondage).

"More than simply provocative, Araki’s images have a powerful honesty and human poignancy that make them unforgettable," said Tomas Maier, Bottega Veneta's creative director. "He has his own visual language, which I was very excited to see translated to the collection."

Tomas Maier and Bottega Veneta have already worked with artists such as Pieter Hugo, Nan Goldin and Nick Knight, to name only a few. The campaign by Araki will be published in February in select international magazines. A behind the scenes video of the shoot will also be put up on bottegaveneta.com, also in February.
