German cosmetics group Beiersdorf (Nivea, La Prairie, Eucerin, etc.) has forged closer links with Innoget, the innovation marketplace linking companies with the scientific community. Innoget is a web platform on which R&D or innovation departments can communicate their technology needs to an international community of scientists, within a confidential and protected environment.

As part of the collaboration, Beiersdorf's own innovation platform, called Trusted Network, is now featured on Innoget's website. "Thanks to the link between our two websites, we will strengthen our network by connecting with external partners chiefly from the life sciences and chemistry domains. At the same time, we will improve our group's visibility as potential partner for other industries, research institutes and universities," explained Pia Rücker, technology director at Beiersdorf's R&D department. The German group has been working with Innoget since 2014.

In the first six months of the year, Beiersdorf's revenue reached €3.6 billion.
