Alfred Dunhill CEO steps down

Christopher Colfer, CEO of the Alfred Dunhill brand since 2005, has resigned to take on a senior management position of Richemont, the Swiss-based owner of Alfred Dunhill. His successor at Dunhill will be appointed in the coming weeks, the group said.

Christopher Colfer was responsible for repositioning several international brands since his arrival in the Richemont Group in 1992. Before becoming head of the British menswear house Dunhill, this expert in marketing strategy and the luxury sector served as the director of business development for Richemont. He leaves the British brand for an international position with the world's third largest luxury group, led by South African Johann Ruper.
