Known for its minimalist and timeless style, A.P.C. is coming to Italy with its very first shop in Milan. It opened a few days ago and will be officially inaugurated on March 30. This opening comes at a time when L Catterton, the fund co-founded by the LVMH group and the Arnault family, has just taken a majority stake in the French ready-to-wear brand in order "to accelerate its international growth," it announced at the beginning of March.

The 108-square-metre space is the 103rd A.P.C. outlet. The brand was founded in Paris in 1987 by Jean Touitou, joined in 1997 by his wife Judith. The new store is located in the historic heart of Milan at number 13 Via Ponte Vetero, previously occupied by Pinko. Located in the trendy Brera district, it stands alongside Golden Goose, MSGM and the trendy multi-brand Antonia.

The shop, which has two windows, houses the A.P.C. women's and men's collections as well as accessories and the denim line. Its design was entrusted to the Parisian agency Laurent Deroo Architecte, which has already designed many other shops for the brand, as they have been working together since 2008.

The project favours a clean design with furniture, shelves and racks in light wood, standing out against light grey walls and floor, while the entrance is highlighted by a large wooden door on which the three capital letters of the brand are discreetly engraved.
