Fashion East announces designer roster for LFW:M
Dec 10, 2016
Fashion East has announced its line up for the upcoming fall/winter 2016 season at London Fashion Week: Men. In the past, the Fashion East platform has launched many banner careers, including Gareth Pugh, Jonathan Saunders, Roksanda, and House of Holland. For the first time, the Fashion East show will stage its runway show together with the MAN spotlight platform.

The non-profit initiative, founded by Lulu Kennedy, has been supporting emerging designers since 2000. Fashion East works to provide both funding and exposure for the chosen designers. Fashion East selected James Buck and Lukes Brooks, showing their Rottingdean Bazaar for the second time. The initiative also picked Eden Loweth and Tom Barratt, the duo behind the label Art School, to show this year at a show to be staged at the Old Selfridges Hotel, simultaneous with the MAN spotlight show.
MAN, launched in 2005 by Fashion East and Topman, supports emerging menswear talent. Past alumni include Louis Vuitton’s leading man Kim Jones, Christopher Shannon, Grace Wales Bonner, and the man behind his own eponymous label and Loewe, J. W. Anderson.
Charles Jeffrey, Feng Chen Wang, and Per Gotesson will be showing at MAN this season. All three designers have shown with MAN before. Wang made the shortlist for this year’s LVMH Prize, Gotesson is a Royal College of Art graduate, and Jeffrey is a cult-followed Central Saint Martin’s grad who currently stocks in Dover Street Market.
